Do It For The Children - Inspiring Kids In Kano State, Nigeria

Captured this photo of a group of community kids somewhere in Kano. They were really captivated by our camera equipment. I heard they thought we were from Nollywood (Nigeria's movie industry). These beautiful children represent the millions of kids in Northern Nigeria who do not have access to constant electricity, paved roads, good water, internet facilities and so much more, as kids in other parts of Nigeria do.

The truth is, millions of kids in even other regions of Nigeria are also deprived. I cringe when I see Nigerian children in 2022 walking around barefoot, in ragged clothes...

I applaud 🙌projects, programs and initiatives that work to reduce these inequalities. I salute 👌governments and leaders who build the infrastructure that brings these basic amenities closer to the people at the grassroots. I hope🙏 one day that more kids can enjoy the advantages that good education, good schools, good primary healthcare systems and a good economy can bring. I look forward to assignments that will bring me closer to these kids, understand their lives and share their stories with the world.📷😇❤️
